Yes, can you believe it, me, Pea, has been nominated for this award not once, oh no, not twice nor for that matter thrice & not even four times either, but FIVE times. Well, fuck me sideways with a.. I’ll let your imagination take that one or feel free to insert said object in the comments below. It’ll make me chuckle. :)
Personally, I was blown away, humbled & incredibly proud all at the same time after reading the words of what two lovely ladies had said about me. This particular journey for me only started a year ago, I started out on Twitter, wondering if anyone would be interested in a poem I had recorded aurally. It transpired that people loved it. I then moved to Tumblr, where I posted pieces of erotica that I had written, numerous images of myself, poetry, and of course many aurals shared via SoundCloud. I found Tumblr to be too restrictive for what I really wanted to do, I wanted to make a blog that I could build on, make it look my own in style etc.
So in September of last year I took the leap & joined WordPress. A decision I do not regret at all. Although, Pea & HTML are not a heady intoxicating mix, believe me. But so many people have helped me & I can truly say I have learnt a few things. While I am not in the realms of the bloggers & their talent of whom I will mention below that inspire me so, my heart & soul goes into my own style of blogging. I am so incredibly proud of the community I feel a part of.
A huge thankyou goes to Rebel & Rachel for nominating me. Thankyou, ladies, you inspire me so & I am very excited about meeting you both at Eroticon 2013 ~ In the 5 weeks that have passed since being nominated, I have been nominated twice more by Mia & Stella Thankyou, ladies! I add a gentleman into the mix today, as I found out that not only had he been nominated for this but in turn nominated some lovely bloggers I know..Oo & me! This is the blog of a remarkable woman & her husband. Their journey of exploring polyamory as a huge part of their life together. I mainly read Mina’s half of their story. Unbeknowns to me, I read a piece of written work by this lady some 6 months ago. I read it on Molly’s blog, the inspiring safe haven Molly created on there, known as ‘Anonymous’. Rachel’s words were just beautiful. I remember being very touched at the time in the care of details & the fluidity of her words. I left a comment stating so. Six months later, a lady followed me on Twitter & within a few days she’d told me that I was one of the people that inspired her to keep writing, set up a blog etc. I am so incredibly proud of her.
